Woah, talk about a comeback! After like, five years, Tiger Shroff is back in his action hero role as Ronnie in the fourth Baaghi movie. This time, director A. Harsha and writers Sajid Nadiadwala and Rajat Arora went for a darker, more brutal feel. And honestly? They totally delivered. This film is a crazy, wild ride that you'll either love for its pure spectacle or find a bit lacking 'cause the story is kinda thin.

The plot, which they say is based on this Tamil film called Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu, tries to add some psychological drama. We see Ronnie, who's a naval officer now, haunted by these fuzzy memories and even hallucinations of his old flame, Alisha, played by Harnaaz Sandhu. He’s all messed up with guilt and grief from this terrible train accident he survived, and you can’t tell what’s in his head and what’s real. This whole setup is a new thing for the series, which is usually just straight-up revenge, but it mostly just feels like an excuse to get to the next fight scene.
But wow, the action! This is where Baaghi 4 totally shines. The cinematography by Swamy J. Gowda is awesome—the fights are so gritty and intense you can almost feel them. The choreography, with so many different stunt guys working on it, is a total treat for your eyes. There are some scenes, especially near the end, that are just pure, insane chaos. Tiger Shroff definitely went all out, doing stunts that hardly anyone else could pull off. He's totally in his zone, just a one-man army smashing through tons of bad guys with axes, hammers, and a complete disregard for, you know, gravity and stuff.
The rest of the cast though? Not so much to do. Sanjay Dutt is a great bad guy, all menacing and intense like he always is. But his character, just like most of the others, isn't really fleshed out and is really just there for Ronnie to fight. Harnaaz Sandhu did a solid job in her first movie as Alisha, a character with a few different sides to her. And Sonam Bajwa is in it, but her role is pretty pointless, which is a shame.
Even with all the amazing visuals and explosive action, the movie has some serious issues with its story. The first half is super slow and spends way too much time on Ronnie's hallucinations and his brother trying to snap him out of it. The emotional parts feel forced, and the whole love story that's supposed to drive everything just doesn't connect. It ends up feeling like a bunch of cool fight scenes stuck together with a really lame, uninspired script.
Basically, Baaghi 4 is for a very specific crowd: people who love the franchise and can't get enough of crazy, over-the-top action movies. It's a "roaring success" if you're there for the stunts and spectacle, but if you're hoping for a good story or characters you can actually care about, it’s a long and kinda boring watch. It's a good reminder that sometimes, even a ton of action can't save a movie from a bad script.
