Let's be real, nobody enjoys reading privacy policies. They're usually super long and full of confusing legal jargon. But, your privacy is a big deal to me, so I wanted to lay out how I handle your info when you hang out here on Trending with Joy.

I'll try my best not to make it sound like a lawyer wrote it.

The Info I Collect (And It's Not Much, I Promise!)

First off, I don't collect any sensitive personal information. I'm just here to talk about trends, not spy on you! The only info I collect is the stuff you choose to give me:

Your Name: When you pop it into a contact form to say hi.

Your Email Address: Same deal, when you use the contact form.

Thats it. Seriously.

How I Get This Info

This one's easy. I only get your name and email because you give it to me directly when you fill out the contact form. No secret spy stuff going on here.

What I Do With Your Info

I use your info for some pretty basic things:

To actually write back to you when you send me a message or ask a question.

To help improve the blog and figure out what you guys like reading.

To understand how people are using the site, so I can make it better.

To try and personalize your experience... which mostly just means writing more about the topics that are popular!

Sharing Your Info (Spoiler: I Don't)

Long story short: I do not sell, trade, or otherwise give away your personal info to some other company. Why would I? Your info is safe with me. Its only used by me for the reasons I mentioned above.

I've put security measures in place to help protect your information when you send it my way. I do my best to keep everything on the site safe and secure.

I hate those annoying cookie pop-ups as much as you do. So, good news! We do not use cookies or any other weird tracking technologies on this site. You can browse in peace.

The Only Times I Might Share Your Info

Okay, so there are like, two super-rare exceptions where I might have to share your info:

If the law makes me do it. Like, a legit court order or legal thing.

To protect the rights and safety of the blog, myself, or other readers.

But I will definately do my best to be transparent if that ever happens.
