Bigg Boss 19 September 8 Highlights: From Bhindi to Big Battles—Tanya's Emotional Confession Divides the House

What an episode, am I right? It was a real rollercoaster of emotions, that's for sure. The whole thing was just insane. It started all chill and then bam, it went totally off the rails. It all centered on Tanya Mittal's huge breakdown after Kunickaa just went in on her.

The night actually started out pretty light. Gaurav was just chilling, talking about his wife and what she must be thinking about him being in the house. Then Shehbaaz was being awesome, teaching Nehal how to make some chicken in his super laid-back style. But then, things got real serious, real fast. Baseer Ali, bless his heart, just admitted he was over it. He said something like, “This isn’t for me,” and that he came to show his personality, not to be fake friends with everyone. He was totally blunt, calling the other contestants “shit” and saying he “got stuck in the wrong season.”

Later on, the gas was left on and Awez was like, “Hey guys, the gas is on,” and while Zeishan said sorry, it just got all heated. Shehbaaz and Zeishan then got into it with Abhishek, asking why he had to be so extra about it. Awez later told Abhishek to “stick to his own topic.”

Day 16: From Bhindi To Total Meltdown

The next day started with the most ironic song ever, “It’s the Time to Disco,” because it was anything but. Tanya was cutting bhindi and found a bug, and she totally freaked out. Kunickaa, never one to miss a moment, immediately made a snarky comment about Tanya needing to spend more time in the kitchen if she wanted to know what's up. And Tanya, she came right back at her, saying, “Your empowerment starts in the kitchen. You only disqualify people because of the kitchen.”

It just went downhill from there. Tanya was like, “Just wait for nominations, then I’ll show you.” Kunickaa accused Tanya of putting people down, and Tanya said Kunickaa was making a big deal out of nothing. The tension just hung in the air. Kunickaa later just totally blew Tanya off, telling other people, “I don’t want to talk to her as long as she’s in this house.”

Nomination Task: Let The Games Begin

Then, of course, Bigg Boss had to announce nominations. They had this new format where pairs (a boy and a girl) had to count 19 minutes and press a buzzer while everyone else tried to distract them.

First up were Abhishek and Ashnoor, and everyone just went after them. Amaal and Farhana were all over them, and Tanya told Ashnoor, “As a human being, you’re not a good person.” Farhana went hard on Abhishek, telling him, “No girl in this world wants to be with a guy like you.” Ouch. Abhishek finally pressed the buzzer when he thought time was up.

Then it was Farhana and Pranit's turn. Ashnoor was totally verbal, saying, “There’s no place for people like you here.” Abhishek jumped in, calling her unfit for the house. Neelam and Kunickaa also got their digs in, with Kunickaa straight-up accusing Farhana of making mothers cry.

In another round, Awez and Nagma got nominated automatically because Abhishek locked them in the activity room. Bigg Boss stepped in and nominated both of them.

Kunickaa Goes For The Jugular

But the real crazy part was when it was Tanya and Gaurav’s turn. Kunickaa didn’t hold anything back. She started by mocking Tanya, calling her "150 bodyguard wali Tanya Mittal, who doesn’t even know how to cut an onion, who hasn’t even seen a bhindi ka keeda.”

But then she got really personal, going after Tanya’s mom. “Your mother didn’t even teach you the basic things,” she said.

Kunickaa just kept going and going, questioning Tanya’s whole life. She said Tanya had no real struggles, and pointed out that she only started a YouTube channel a few months ago, and all she does is make mandir and bhakti content. “This isn’t a big achievement, this is a disqualification, not a qualification,” Kunickaa declared.

She even used her own saree as an example, saying she wears it with pride to show that women can be empowered in traditional clothes. To top it all off, Kunickaa called Tanya a “lying person” and an “idiot” and said her “so-called privilege” doesn’t belong on a platform like Bigg Boss.

Tanya's Emotional Breakdown And The Aftermath

Those words really hit Tanya. She just lost it in the activity area, crying her eyes out. Nagma went to comfort her, but Kunickaa just said Tanya was playing the “victim card.” The other contestants were on Tanya’s side, though, saying it was totally not cool to bring parents into the fight.

The fight got even more out of control when Zeishan said something brutal, bringing up Kunickaa's son. He was like, “Ayaan, first look at your mom, brother, who comes on stage and cries, you see, whether you get votes from Gwalior or from your gobar वाले, the truth is this is your mother.” (Yeah, that's what he said, it makes no sense to me either.)

Amid all her tears, Tanya then revealed her own painful past, saying “My mom is my god, I came here after a lot of struggle.” She then revealed that “my dad used to hit me, my mom would save me. I got permission to do business with a lot of difficulty. I would have been married at 19, I went to die, I have fought a lot.”

And that's how the episode ended, on a super emotional and fiery note. Tanya was totally vulnerable, Kunickaa was getting roasted for her harsh words, and the house was just completely split.
