Holding Strong on Day 5: 'Param Sundari' Proves Its Mettle at the Box Office

So, like, I was looking up the box office numbers for that movie, what's it called... "Param Sundari"? Yeah, that one with Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor. You know, they're super cute together. Anyway, I was trying to find out how much it made on its fifth day, which I think was a Tuesday, right? 'Cause it came out on a Friday, and Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday... yeah, Tuesday. Makes sense.

Okay, so the film had a pretty good first weekend. Like, it made about ₹7.25 crore on Friday, then it went up to ₹9.25 crore on Saturday, and then it had its biggest day on Sunday with a whopping ₹10.25 crore! That's a good weekend. But then, you know how it is with Mondays, everyone's back to work and school, and the collections kinda dropped. It made like, ₹3.25 crore, which is a big drop, but it's pretty normal.

But then, get this, on day 5 (Tuesday!), it kinda picked up again! I think maybe it was because of some sort of a discount on tickets, I'm not sure. But a bunch of sites are saying it made around ₹4.25 crore. Some are even saying it made ₹4.82 crore! So the total collection so far is like, somewhere in the ₹34 to ₹35 crore range. That's a decent amount of money.

And get this, it even beat some of Sidharth's other movies like "Ittefaq"! That's kinda cool. The movie is apparently doing well in places like Jaipur and the NCR region, but not so much in places like Surat. I guess people there are just, like, busy or something.

So yeah, that's what I found out. It's doing okay, not a super-duper blockbuster, but it's holding its own. It'll be interesting to see what happens after this, 'cause I think another big movie, "Baaghi 4" or something, is coming out soon. That's gonna be tough competition for sure.
