Border 2 Censor Certificate Update: Rated U/A 13+ with Zero Cuts for 2026 Release

Oh man, the hype for Border 2 is just off the charts right now! I was just reading about it and honestly, it feels like 1997 all over again, but with way better cameras lol.

The big news is that the movie just got its official certification. It’s been rated U/A 13+ by the censor board (CBFC), and the best part? No cuts! Usually, with these big war movies, the censors get all nervous about the violence or "sensitive" dialogues, but they’ve cleared it exactly as the director, Anurag Singh, wanted it.

The New 'Braves Of The Soil' Trailer

They just dropped this new "tribute trailer" called 'Braves Of The Soil' and oh boy... keep your tissues ready. Unlike the first trailer that was all about the action and Sunny Deol shouting (which we love), this one is super emotional.

The Theme: It focuses on the sacrifices of the soldiers and their families. It's basically a big thank you to the real heroes.

The Song: There's a new song in it called 'Mitti Ke Bete' sung by Sonu Nigam. It’s written by Manoj Muntashir and composed by Mithoon. If you liked Sandese Aate Hai, this one is going to hit you right in the feels.

Key Moments: There’s a scene where Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh are talking about home that actually made me tear up a bit. Varun plays Major Hoshiar Singh and Diljit is playing an Air Force officer based on the legendary Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon.

Movie Details (The Stuff You Wanna Know)

Release Date: January 23, 2026 (Republic Day weekend!)

Director: Anurag Singh (the guy who did Kesari)

Runtime: Around 3 hours and 20 minutes (it's a long one!)

Main Cast: Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty

Produced by: J.P. Dutta, Bhushan Kumar, and Nidhi Dutta

It’s crazy to think it’s been almost 30 years since the first one. Sunny Deol is returning as Fateh Singh, and from the glimpses we've seen, he hasn't lost any of that "Dhai Kilo Ka Haath" energy.

The movie covers the 1971 war again but on a much bigger scale—it's got the Army, Navy, and Air Force all working together. They even filmed on the INS Vikrant, which is just insane for a Bollywood movie.

I’m really glad they didn't cut anything for the U/A rating because war movies need that raw grit to feel real, you know?
