Here is everything you need to know about the film:

The Big Announcement

Today, January 15, 2026, Aamir Khan Productions officially dropped the first look poster for the film. It looks really sweet and "wintery"—the poster shows Junaid and Sai Pallavi walking through a snowy street (apparently shot in Japan!), smiling and eating ice cream. The tagline on the poster says, "One love... one chance."

New Release Date

The film was originally rumored to be titled Mere Raho and was supposed to come out sometime in 2025, but they’ve officially moved it.

Release Date: May 1, 2026 (yup, mark your calendars for next year!).

The Teaser: We don't have to wait long at all for a glimpse of the footage. The teaser is officially dropping tomorrow, January 16, 2026.

Key Details About the Film

Director: Sunil Pandey

Producers: Aamir Khan, Mansoor Khan, and Aparna Purohit

Lead Cast: Junaid Khan & Sai Pallavi

Music: Ram Sampath (with lyrics by Irshad Kamil)

Plot Rumors: Said to be a remake of the Thai film One Day (2016)

Why This is a Big Deal

A Classic Reunion: This movie marks the reunion of Aamir Khan and Mansoor Khan as producers after 18 years! The last time they teamed up was for Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na back in 2008, which we all know was a total classic.

Sai Pallavi’s Hindi Debut: Even though she’s doing the big Ramayana movie with Ranbir Kapoor, Ek Din is actually set to be her first official release in Bollywood.

Junaid’s Second Outing: After his debut in Maharaj, everyone is curious to see him in a proper romantic role.

The film was shot largely in Sapporo, Japan, during their famous Snow Festival, so it’s probably going to look absolutely stunning on the big screen. It’s definitely giving those soft, "old-school romance" vibes.
