The internet is literally losing its mind over the teaser for O’Romeo, the new Vishal Bhardwaj film. Honestly, if 2026 was a bingo card, seeing the most wholesome woman in Bollywood swearing like a gangster was definitely not on it.
The Dialogue That Broke the Internet
The teaser is about a minute and a half of pure chaos, but the scene everyone is looping is Farida Jalal’s bit. She looks straight into the camera and says:

The sheer "don't-mess-with-me" energy she has while saying it is... well, it's a lot. We're talking about the woman who played SRK's mom in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge! Seeing her go from "Puttar" to "Ch****a" is the plot twist nobody saw coming.

Why It’s Such a Big Deal
The reason people are so shocked is because Farida Jalal has spent 50 years being the "nice lady." Even in her recent work like Heeramandi, she maintained that grace. To see her break that "Nani" image for a gritty crime drama is actually pretty cool, even if it’s a bit of a jump-scare for the 90s kids.
The film is set to release on February 13, 2026 (just in time for Valentine's Day, though it doesn't look very romantic lol).
