Bigg Boss 19: Amaal Mallik's 'Choodi aur Saari' Comment Sparks Outrage: Fans Call Him Misogynist After Ugly Fight with Abhishek Bajaj

So, yeah, let's talk about what went down with Amaal Mallik and Abhishek Bajaj. What a mess! It all started with something as small as food. Can you believe it? Abhishek was trying to eat on a sofa or bed, and Amaal, for some reason, got all worked up about it. He told him that he sleeps there, so no eating. But Abhishek, being the kind of guy he is, wasn't having any of it and tried to sit down anyway. That's when Amaal totally lost it. He started yelling and swearing, and things just went downhill from there.

The whole thing exploded when Amaal, while talking to other housemates like Zeishan Quadri and Baseer Ali, made that really bad comment. He was defending himself and said something along the lines of, "Us din isne mereko eliminate kiya maine isko ek bhi baar pucha ke kyun kia? Baar baar 100 bar puchna hai ke kyun kar rahe ho toh ghar jao, choodi peheno, saree bhi odh lo, bindi bhi laga lo." ("Why do you guys keep asking me why I do things? If you're going to keep asking me a hundred times, then go home, put on bangles, wear a sari, and a bindi.") I mean, what was he thinking? It was such a boneheaded thing to say.

The minute those words came out of his mouth, the internet just went bonkers. People started calling him out for being a total misogynist, and rightfully so. They were like, "How can you use being a woman as an insult?" "Are you saying that wearing bangles and a sari is a sign of weakness?" It was all over Twitter, or X, or whatever it's called now. Fans were super disappointed, and they were pointing out how a public figure like him, with millions of fans, should know better. It's a classic case of casual sexism, and it's so frustrating to see in this day and age. It just shows how deep-seated these old ideas are.

It's not Amaal's first controversy in the house either. He also got into hot water for saying that Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar are only nice to him because he pays them ₹20 lakhs for song promotions. Their families got involved, and it turned into a whole other mess. So yeah, Amaal is definitely not making any friends inside the Bigg Boss house, and he's getting a lot of negative attention outside of it too. It's gonna be really interesting to see what Salman Khan says about all this in the next Weekend Ka Vaar episode. I've got a feeling it's not going to be pretty.
