So, for Day 8, the domestic box office collection for Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra is reportedly around ₹6.54 crore. That's a net collection, so you can add tax and all that to get the gross, but we'll stick to net for simplicity's sake. This brings the total domestic net collection to a whopping ₹52.89 crore in just eight days! I mean, wow, that's really, really good.

The movie had a pretty slow start on its first day, with only ₹2.7 crore, but then word-of-mouth spread like wildfire. The weekend was bonkers, and it's been holding strong on the weekdays too. The collections are staying up there, which is a great sign. It's even got a Hindi version now, which is awesome. I saw a tweet from Dulquer Salmaan about it, and he's so happy. Like, he said he's never seen anything like this with his own movies, and he's been in, like, forty or something, so that's a big deal.

Now, for the worldwide numbers. Oh my gosh. This is where it gets really crazy. The movie has officially joined the ₹100 crore club worldwide! It's the third Malayalam film this year to do it, which is just insane. The other two were those Mohanlal movies, Empuraan and Thudarum. It looks like Lokah is on its way to the ₹120 crore mark pretty soon, too. Some people are even saying it might beat the collection of Empuraan, but I don't know, that feels a bit too optimistic, doesn't it? But hey, you never know!

So yeah, to sum up, here's the deets for Day 8:

India Net Collection: ₹6.54 crore

Total India Net Collection (8 days): ₹52.89 crore

Worldwide Gross Collection (8 days): It's somewhere north of ₹100 crore, but let's be more specific, it's around ₹101 crore, and it's quickly heading towards ₹120 crore.

And get this, some of the reports are saying it's the first South Indian movie with a female lead to gross ₹100 crore, which is just... wow. Kalyani Priyadarshan is a superstar now, for sure. So yeah, I'm just so proud of the Malayalam film industry. They're making such good movies, and everyone is finally noticing. It's just a great time to be a movie lover, you know?
