Ugh, box office reports are so confusing, right? It's like a bunch of numbers thrown at you and you're just supposed to get it. I was just trying to figure out what "The Bengal Files" made on Day 4 and my brain is already hurting.

Okay, so from what I gathered, the movie had its first Monday, which is always a tough day for any film. You know, after the big weekend rush when everyone's got time off. On Day 4, which was a Monday, the movie made... wait, let me check my notes... yeah, it made around Rs 1.10 crore. That's a huge drop from Sunday, which makes sense since Sunday was part of the weekend. Sacnik, that's like a famous box office tracker, said it was an "early estimate," so it might change a little.
Anyway, this brings the total for the movie to about Rs 7.85 crore after four days. See, that's where I get mixed up. Is that a lot? For this movie, I guess it's okay, but it's not a blockbuster like, say, "The Kashmir Files." That movie was a monster hit, this one seems to be a little more of a slow-burn.
The film's occupancy on Monday was also pretty low, only around 18.24% on average. The morning shows were super empty, like only 9.99% occupied, which is sad. But it got a little better in the evening and night, reaching about 24.19%. So, people were watching it, just not a whole lot of them during the daytime, you know?
It's also interesting to note that the film is facing a bunch of challenges. Apparently, it's not even being screened in West Bengal, which is a huge part of the movie's subject matter. That's gotta hurt the collections. And it's also up against two other big movies, "Baaghi 4" and "The Conjuring: Last Rites." I mean, I love a good action movie and a scary movie, so I get why people might choose those instead.
So yeah, Day 4 was a bit of a reality check for "The Bengal Files." The weekend hype is over, and now we'll see if it can hold on and make some more money. I hope so, because I've heard it's a really important movie, even if the numbers aren't as crazy as its predecessors.
