Gosh, keeping up with these box office numbers is a full-time job, I swear! Okay, so I was just looking at the collections for that new movie, "The Bengal Files," on its Day 9, which was a Saturday. You know, the one by Vivek Agnihotri, the same guy who did that other big one, "The Kashmir Files."

So, you won't believe this, but the movie had a really slow Friday. Like, a super slow one. It collected its lowest ever, only about ₹60 lakhs. Oof. That's a huge drop from its first week when it was doing pretty okay. I mean, it was making like, a crore rupees a day, even on weekdays. But then Friday came, and it just... fell.
But then, get this, Saturday was like a magical turnaround! The weekend fairy must have sprinkled some dust on it or something. According to the early estimates, the film collected about ₹1.11 crore! That's a massive jump, like a huge one. Some reports are saying it's an 80% increase from the day before. Isn't that wild? You never know with these movies.
With that nice little bounce-back on Saturday, the movie's total collection for its first nine days has now reached around ₹12.96 crore. That's pretty close to ₹13 crore, which is a good milestone. Now everyone's wondering if it can hit ₹15 crore by the end of the second weekend. It's gonna be a tight race, that's for sure.
It's just so funny, because this movie, "The Bengal Files," is part of a trilogy. The first one, "The Tashkent Files," did about ₹20 crore lifetime, and the second one, "The Kashmir Files," was a ginormous blockbuster, collecting over ₹340 crore worldwide. "The Bengal Files" is definitely not going to reach that level, but hey, it's already surpassed his previous film, "The Vaccine War," so that's something, right? It's a real rollercoaster. One day it's doing so badly, the next it's jumping up like crazy. You just can't predict anything with Bollywood these days.
