The Conjuring: Last Rites Stumbles on Day 11, Still Dominates Box Office

Gosh, keeping up with these box office numbers is a real headache! I swear they change every five minutes. Let's see... So, for The Conjuring: Last Rites on its Day 11, which was a Monday (I think? Yeah, Monday, the 15th of September), the numbers are in, and they're... well, they've definitely dropped.

Here's my best attempt at putting it all together, but please don't quote me on this, I'm just a normal person trying to make sense of all these numbers.

India Collection

Okay, so in India, it looks like the film made about ₹0.73 crore on Day 11. That's a pretty big tumble from the weekend, which is, like, super normal for movies. I mean, who goes to the cinema on a Monday after seeing it over the weekend? Exactly.

This brings its total India net collection to a whopping ₹75.77 crore. I've seen some sources say the total was ₹75.30 crore after day 10, so that ₹0.73 crore on Monday seems to check out. It's doing really well over here, which is kind of surprising for a Hollywood horror movie! It's already the highest-grossing Hollywood horror movie in India, which is just insane.

US Collection

This one's even more confusing. I'm seeing a bunch of different numbers from different days. For Day 11, which was a Monday in the US, it looks like it brought in an estimated $5.70 million. But then I see other numbers for other days that are just... everywhere.

Some sources say its total domestic gross through its second weekend (Day 10) was $130.57 million, while others say it was $131.05 million. Let's just go with the flow and say it's around that mark. So with the $5.70 million from Monday, the new US total should be somewhere around $136.27 million. Math is hard, don't judge me.

Worldwide Collection

Oh boy, this is the trickiest part. The numbers are flying all over the place. Based on the information I've managed to piece together, as of its second weekend (which is day 10), the worldwide total was around $332.7 million. This number seems to be more consistent across a few sources.

So, if we take that $332.7 million from Day 10, and then add the Day 11 numbers for the US and international markets (which I don't have a specific number for, because who has time to track all that?), the total is definitely going to be higher. Let's just say it's well over the $332.7 million mark and is on its way to even more. It's already the highest-grossing film in the main Conjuring franchise, which is pretty cool!

So, in summary: The movie is making a ton of money, especially in India, and the numbers on Day 11 dropped like a rock, which is, you know, totally normal.
