The Legend of Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra Grows with Every Passing Day!

So, like, I was totally just looking up the box office numbers for that movie, what's it called? Oh yeah, Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra. You know, the one with Kalyani Priyadarshan. Anyway, the 19th day's collection just came out, and get this... it's still making a ton of money!

On its 19th day, which was a Monday (I think? My days get all mixed up), the film made a whopping ₹2.65 crore. That's a lot of money, right? But wait, that's like, a huge drop from its Sunday collection, which was like, a massive ₹7 crore! See, I told you Mondays are the worst. No one wants to go to the movies on a Monday. Everyone is all sad about the weekend being over.

But here's the crazy part. Even with that Monday dip, the movie has now officially become the second-highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time in the domestic market! Like, WOW. It has surpassed Mohanlal's Thudarum which was sitting at the ₹122 crore mark. So now, the total domestic collection for Lokah is a mind-boggling ₹122.05 crore.

And it's not just doing well in India. Globally, it's also a big deal. The total worldwide collection is like, around ₹249 crore. It's so close to ₹250 crore, I bet it's gonna hit that number today, for sure. It's just a little bit short, but it's like a marathon runner just before the finish line. The overseas market is crazy strong for this movie, which is helping a lot. I heard it already beat the worldwide collection of Manjummel Boys! How cool is that?

So yeah, basically, Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra is a total blockbuster. It's beating all the old movies and setting new records. I mean, they made it on a small budget of ₹30 crore, and now it's earned like, way, way more than that. The producers must be swimming in cash right now. It just goes to show you, sometimes the small, risky movies are the ones that really pay off!
