Oh my god, did you see the Mardaani 3 trailer yet?? I just watched it like three times back-to-back because Rani Mukerji is just... wow. She really is the GOAT when it comes to these gritty roles.

Anyway, here is the lowdown on everything because it looks super intense (and honestly a bit scary).
The Big Bad: Who is Amma?
So, the biggest shocker this time is the villain. Usually, Shivani Shivaji Roy (Rani's character) goes up against these creepy young guys, but this time it’s a woman! Her name is Amma, played by Mallika Prasad.
She isn't just a regular kidnapper; she runs this massive "beggar mafia" and child trafficking ring. The trailer says she's been buying girls for like ₹10 lakh each? It’s super dark. There’s this one scene where a girl is coughing up blood in a hospital and it just breaks your heart.
The Plot (Wait, 93 girls?!)
The stakes are way higher now. Shivani is now with the NIA (National Investigation Agency), and she’s trying to find 93 young girls who all went missing in just three months. That’s like one girl a day, which is terrifying.
The trailer is about 3 minutes and 16 seconds long (yeah, I checked lol), and it’s basically a "race against time." You see Rani doing her usual badass thing—interrogating people, chasing guys down, and looking generally exhausted but determined.
Highlights & "OMG" Moments
The Dialogue: There’s this epic line where Shivani tells Amma: "I am a cop who won’t take cuts from people like you, but will cut you down." (I might have paraphrased a bit, but it was something cool like that!)
The Cast: Janki Bodiwala (she was in that movie Shaitaan, right?) is also in this one in a big role.
The Vibe: It feels very similar to Delhi Crime but with more of that YRF action punch. It's directed by Abhiraj Minawala this time, not the guy who did the second one.
Release Date (Mark your calenders!)
The movie was supposed to come out in February, but they moved it up! It’s now releasing on January 30, 2026. That’s literally just a couple of weeks away.
Quick Note: Rani is also celebrating 30 years in the industry with this film. Can you believe it’s been that long since Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat? She doesn't age!
I’m honestly so hyped for this but also kinda scared because the trafficking stuff looks really brutal. Mallika Prasad looks like she’s going to be a terrifying villain.
