The nominations for the 98th Academy Awards are finally out, and honestly, the list is pretty much what everyone expected. Ryan Coogler’s Sinners absolutely crushed it, leading the pack with a crazy 16 nominations. Right behind it is the Leonardo DiCaprio movie One Battle After Another which got 14 nods.

| 98th Oscar Nominations: Ryan Coogler’s ‘Sinners’ Makes History While India’s ‘Homebound’ Snubbed! |
Sadly, India's entry Homebound (directed by Neeraj Ghaywan and produced by Karan Johar) didn't make the cut for Best International Feature, even with stars like Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor. On the bright side, Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein did really well in both the tech and big categories, and Timothée Chalamet’s Marty Supreme bagged 9 noms.
