Dhurandhar Box Office: Ranveer Singh Hits Rs 1300 Crore Worldwide, Beats Pushpa 2 Record!

Hey! Sorry if this is a bit messy, I’m typing this on my phone and my autocorrect is actually the worst lol. But oh my god, have you seen the news about Dhurandhar? It's actually insane what's happening at the box office right now.

I was just reading that it officially crossed Rs 1300 crore worldwide! Honestly, I didn't think a spy movie (especially one not released in the Middle East) would go this big, but Ranveer Singh really did that.

The Big Numbers (The "Chilly" Details haha)

So, here is what the experts are saying (roughly, because these numbers change every five minutes):

India Total: It’s at like Rs 816 crore (some say 813, some say 860 depending on if you mean "Nett" or "Gross"—it’s all so confusing).

Worldwide: It has smashed past the Rs 1300 crore mark.

The "Pushpa" Factor: This is the big one. It apparently beat Pushpa 2: The Rule to become the highest-grossing Hindi film ever in India. I think Pushpa 2 did around 812cr in Hindi, and Dhurandhar just zoomed right past it. Allu Arjun is still king of the total world numbers (like 1700cr+), but for Hindi specifically, Ranveer is the new boss.

Makar Sankranti Magic

The movie was actually starting to slow down a little bit because it’s been out for like six weeks (it released Dec 5, right?). But then the Makar Sankranti holiday happened yesterday!

Even though there are new movies out like The Raja Saab (Prabhas’s new one), people are still flocking to Dhurandhar. It actually saw a jump on Wednesday—making about Rs 3 crore in a single day even though it's been out forever. It’s like the movie refuses to die lol.

Why is it so big?

Akshaye Khanna: Everyone is talking about his villain role. People are saying it's the best villain since... I don't even know.

Aditya Dhar: The director (the guy who did Uri) just knows how to make people feel patriotic without it being too "cringey" (is that how you spell it?).

The Sequel: They already announced Dhurandhar 2 for March 2026! Can you believe we only have to wait two months to see what happens next?

I'm honestly just shocked it’s beating films that released in 5 languages when Dhurandhar mostly just stayed in its Hindi lane. It really shows that good word of mouth is everything.
