Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra's Param Sundari Shines on Day 2!

Alright, so here's the deets on the box office for that new movie, what's it called? Oh yeah, Param Sundari. Ugh, my brain is just mush after the long weekend. So, here's what happened on Day 2, August 30th, 2025.

Okay, so get this, the movie Param Sundari, starring that handsome Sidharth Malhotra and the beautiful Janhvi Kapoor—they are just a great-looking pair, right? Anyway, it came out on Friday, August 29th, a day before Ganesh Chaturthi, which is like, a super busy time for movies.

On Day 1, the film had a pretty decent opening, making somewhere around ₹7.25 crore. I mean, it's not a blockbuster opening like some of the superhero movies lately, but for a romantic comedy, it's pretty darn good! It was also apparently Sidharth's fifth biggest opening day, which is impressive!

Now, for Day 2, which was a Saturday, the collection went up, just as everyone hoped it would. My friend said she saw it, and she liked it, so the word-of-mouth must be helping. The film collected an estimated ₹9 crore. Some places are saying ₹9.22 crore, so let's just say it's somewhere in the middle, probably like ₹9.10 crore, give or take. You know how these numbers can be a little fuzzy at first.

So, when you add up the two days, the total domestic collection is around ₹16.25 crore. That's a pretty healthy number for just two days! It even managed to beat the lifetime earnings of some other movie, what was it called? My Husband's Wife or something like that. It’s crazy how fast a movie can make money these days.

So yeah, Day 2 was a nice jump for Param Sundari. It's a good sign that people are actually liking it and going to see it over the weekend, especially with all the holiday stuff going on. Let's hope it keeps up the pace! Oh, I almost forgot, some articles said it was supposed to release in July, but then they changed the date. Smart move, I guess!
