Wow, so I was scrolling through my phone this morning, sipping my coffee, and I almost spit it out everywhere. You know how Taylor Swift and that football guy, Travis Kelce, have been dating forever, like, for a whole year? Well, they're engaged! Can you believe it? The news broke like, just yesterday, on Tuesday. My friend sent me a screenshot of their Instagram post and I was like, no way!

But here's the best part. I saw on some gossip site that her ex-boyfriend, Taylor Lautner, you know, the werewolf from Twilight? Yeah, him. He reacted to the news. And get this, it wasn't some dramatic, sad thing. It was super wholesome. Apparently, he's like, her "best ex" now, which is hilarious and also very sweet. He's married to a girl who's also named Taylor, so they're all like a big, happy Taylor club now. It's kinda cute, actually.
What happened was, the NFL (that's the National Football League, in case you don't know, which is totally understandable) posted a photo on Instagram. It was one of their official engagement pictures, all pretty with flowers, and then a picture of them celebrating on the football field after a big game. The caption was like, "Same" in response to something Taylor Swift said on the field. Then, Taylor Lautner, the ex, re-posted it to his own Instagram story. So it was a very subtle way of saying he's happy for them. It's a nice change of pace from all the drama of her past relationships.
Remember that song "Back to December"? That's about him, right? She apologized in that song, so I guess that's why they're on such good terms now. It's been a while, but it's cool that they can be friends. He even appeared in her "I Can See You" music video a while ago. She brought him on stage during her tour and everything.
So yeah, long story short, everyone is super excited for Taylor and Travis. And Taylor Lautner is just out here being the most supportive ex ever. I guess it proves that you can be friendly with your exes, even if you dated, like, a decade and a half ago. What a world. I need more coffee.
