Oh man, everyone’s talking about Border 2 right now! It finally came out yesterday (well, Friday I mean) and the numbers for Day 2 are just crazy. People are literally going to the theaters on tractors again, just like they did for Gadar 2. It's wild.

Anyway, here is the breakdown of the box office for the second day. I might have mixed up a couple of the small details, but these are the main numbers from the reports:
Border 2 Box Office Collection: Day 2 (Saturday)
The movie saw a really good jump on Saturday because of the weekend vibes and the fact that Monday is a holiday for Republic Day.
Day 1 (Friday): ₹30.00 Cr (Solid start, though some people expected more)
Day 2 (Saturday): ₹35.00 Cr (Early estimates say it went up by about 15-20%)
Total 2-Day Net (India): ₹65.00 Cr
Quick Stats & Occupancy
It seems like the evening shows are totally packed. My cousin tried to get tickets in Delhi and said everything was sold out until Tuesday!
Total Shows: Around 12,300 across India
Morning Occupancy: ~17% (People were sleeping in, I guess lol)
Evening/Night Occupancy: Over 50%
Main Markets: Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Punjab are carrying the film.
The Highlights
The Cast: Sunny Deol is obviously the GOAT, but Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh are actually getting pretty good reviews too. Even Ahan Shetty (Suniel Shetty's son, right?) is holding his own.
The Run Time: The movie is like 3 hours and 20 minutes long. Make sure you don't buy the jumbo soda or you'll be running to the bathroom during the best action scenes!
Predictions: Trade experts think it’ll hit the ₹100 crore mark by tomorrow or definitely by Monday (Republic Day).
Note: These are still "early estimates" so the final official number might change by a crore or two when the producers release the "real" posters tomorrow morning.
I'm actually planning to go see it this week if I can find a seat that isn't in the front row.
