Fake News Alert! Hande Erçel Never Called Shah Rukh Khan 'Uncle'—Here’s What Happened

So, I saw that headline going around and honestly, it’s just one of those weird internet rumors that gets way out of hand. Basically, there was this story floating around saying Turkish actress Hande Ercel (who is stunning, btw) called Shah Rukh Khan "uncle" during an interview or something.

But yeah, it turns out this is totally fake. Hande Ercel never actually said that.

What actually happened?

From what I gather, some random gossip site or social media page probably just made it up to get clicks. You know how it is, isomeone sees a picture of them together at a film festival—I think it was the FICCI Frames event in Mumbai—and suddenly there's a fake quote attached to it.

Actually, Hande has been really vocal about how much she admires Bollywood. In her real interviews, she’s said:

She grew up watching Indian movies.

She really wants to work with actors like Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan.

She thinks SRK is a global icon (she definitely didn't call him uncle lol).

Why do people even believe this?

I think because there’s such a big age gap, people just assume younger actors might say that? But in the industry, nobody would be that rude, especially not to a "King" like Shah Rukh. Plus, Hande is always super polite in her press runs.

It’s kinda like that time people said another actress did the same thing, but it’s usually just mistranslations or someone trying to start "fan wars" between the Turkish drama fans and the Bollywood fans.

Note: Just a reminder to always check the source! If it’s not a verified video interview, it’s probably just fan-fiction masquerading as news.

Anyway, they both looked great at the event and there's zero drama there. It’s just the internet being the internet again.
